Nice to Meet You.

Hi, I’m Jenna Doll. I am a UX Researcher and UX Designer in St. Louis, MO.

I recently graduated with my Master of Science in User Experience from Arizona State University. During my coursework, I learned quantitative and qualitative user research methodologies, content development strategies, human factors, UX principles, and how to develop clear communication with users, stakeholders, and my peers. I received my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Information Technology with a focus on Web Design in Development in December 2020 from ASU.

Before beginning my Master’s degree, I worked for Lou Fusz Automotive Network as their primary UX Designer and Web Developer. I designed and developed hundreds of SEO new vehicle pages, assisted with improving project management for our department, and helped develop an onboarding system for external clients. I spent ten impactful months there growing my skills as a UX Designer and Web Developer before deciding to focus on completing my Master’s full-time.

My UX Philosophy

Researching, designing, and developing innovative solutions that help humans connect and communicate effectively with technology is the heart of user experience design.

I found my passion for user experience design when completing my Bachelor’s degree during a course on usability testing. Since I was a kid, I have always loved asking questions and solving problems, helping others achieve their goals, learning and teaching others how to use new technology, and being creative. User Experience allows me to use all of these skills.

Collaboration is fundamental in UX Research and UX Design. Through the course of any project, being able to communicate and create understanding between users, stakeholders, and colleagues is imperative. I pride myself on always listening and providing necessary feedback to help promote a collaborative environment.

a Little about me

I grew up in the St. Louis, MO area until I graduated high school. Since high school, I have lived in Phoenix, AZ; Greensboro, NC; and Seattle, WA. My husband and I recently moved back to St. Louis to be closer to family and friends and we are so glad to be back.

Below are my two fur babies, Belle (an Australian Shepherd Mix) and Nala (an Orange Tabby). I have always been a huge animal lover and now that we are back in St. Louis, I hope to volunteer at a local animal shelter.

Travel

I love to travel and experience new places. I love finding inspiration for my work in architecture and places that I explore. I love to immerse myself in new cultures and experience and learn about their history, food, and art.

Reading

Reading is something that I have always enjoyed doing. I remember sitting in my room late at night as a kid binge reading. The genre that I most often enjoy is historical fiction, but I also read romance, mystery, and sci-fi.

Photography

Photography is one of my favorite things to do. I love capturing special moments and memories. I even love sitting down at the computer and editing all the pictures I capture.

Crafting

I love creating homemade gifts to give to my loved ones. Crafting has also helped me keep in touch with my creative side.
